About the Workplace

Klöverstigens group home is located in Nödinge and is an LSS group home with six apartments. The facility is staffed around the clock with awake night staff.

We work from a salutogenic approach, ensuring that every individual has a comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful everyday life. In your work, the needs of our residents will always be in focus.

Job Responsibilities

As a support assistant with us, you have an important and meaningful mission to contribute every day to ensuring that our users have a safe, independent, and enriching everyday life. You work together with your colleagues to implement interventions according to LSS, where the individual's needs, desires, and participation are always at the center.

You provide individually tailored support in all aspects of daily life and actively work with implementation plans to enhance independence and quality of life. Through motivating and relationship-building work, you help and support individuals to achieve their goals and live a life as similar to others as possible. At Klöverstigens group home, elderly individuals with LSS decisions reside.

Your role also includes social documentation, creating implementation plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders; you take responsibility and plan your work. You work both independently and together with your colleagues, taking responsibility and building trust in line with the values of Ale municipality.

The position involves work during the day, evening, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant upper secondary education in pedagogy, healthcare, social work, or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. You have experience working within LSS, are accustomed to working from implementation plans, and feel confident in social documentation. You have knowledge of LSS and good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You have an understanding of and preferably experience in working with motivational interviewing (MI), low-affect responses, and use these methods to create security; knowledge of AAC is also an asset.

As a person, you are secure, engaged, and professional in your interactions. You have a genuine interest in the target group, work in a structured manner, and take responsibility for your mission. You collaborate easily with others, have a pedagogical and solution-focused approach, and contribute to a positive and respectful work environment. Personal suitability is highly valued.
